An amazing fundraiser hosted by Westwood Community Chest
Your Westwood Community Chest Luminary Kit contains supplies for 10 luminaries:
- 10 White Paper Bags
- 10 Battery Operated Tealight Candles
Instructions
Open each paper bag & fold down the top, add either rice, sand, etc. or something to give the bag weight.
1. Open each paper bag, fold down the top. Add sand, gravel or other weighted item to bottom of bag.
2. Pull out tab, turn on, place light into the sand/gravel.
3. Place bags 2-3 feet apart along the sidewalk, driveway, steps or in your front window (whatever works for you.)
5. Light candles by 5:00 pm on December 7 (Rain date Dec.14.)
6. Families are encouraged to decorate bags.

Thank you for participating in our second annual Luminary Night. For the past 16 years, WCC has been fortunate enough to be able to help fellow Westwood residents in their time of financial need. We also provide financial assistance to families for local summer camps through our Campership Awards. It is through your generosity and the generosity of our local businesses that allow WCC to help our neighbors in need.
